The Global Entrepreneurship Week for the first time was held in Macedonia, from 17th to 23rd November 2008, at the hotel Aleksandar Palace.
This event is the first global entrepreneur event, which aims to unleash young people’s enterprising ideas and address some of society’s biggest issues, from poverty reduction through to climate change. More than 70 countries are currently signed up to run their very own versions of Enterprise Week.
Host organizations in Macedonia were Youth Entrepreneurial Service and Strengthening Entrepreneurship, Competitiveness and Innovation project.
